.....Five beautiful Korean actresses

There is no doubt that Korean telenovelas, movies, and music have consistently gained popularity over the past two years. One of the reasons for this phenomenon, also known as the Hallyu phenomenon or the "Korean Wave", is the sheer beauty of Korean actresses. Get to know some of the most beautiful Korean actresses celebrated for their flawless skin, beautiful physique, and unmistakeable talent.

Kim Tae Hee
Kim Tae Hee (Sports Korea)

The beautiful Kim Tae Hee is perhaps the most beautiful Korean actress of her generation. Boasting of a perfectly natural "Angel's face", Kim Tae Hee is indeed a woman other woman would want to hate. Not only is she a talented actress having completed several successful K-dramas including "Stairway to Heaven", "Iris" and "My Princess", Kim Tae Hee is also a top student who graduated with a degree in Fashion Design from Seoul National University. Kim Tae Hee's last project was a Japanese drama entitled "Boku to Star no 99 Nichi" where she played a successful Korean actress who fell in love with a regular Japanese man.

Song Hye Gyo
Song Hye Gyo (Sports Korea)

Song Hye Gyo is best known in the Philippines for her work in popular Korean dramas "Full House" and "Autumn in My Heart" or "Endless Love". Her photo alone is enough evidence of her perfect facial features. Song Hye Gyo was actually named fifth in the 2011 Independent Critics list of the World's Most Beautiful Faces. Known for her flawless skin, Song Hye Gyo models for Korean cosmetics brand Laneige. Song Hye Gyo is also known for falling in love with her co-actors. The beauty has had two high profile break-ups with A-list Korean actors she worked with including Lee Byung Hun ("All In") and Hyun Bin ("Worlds Within"). Song Hye Gyo will be in the upcoming film, "The Grandmasters", with Tony Leung and Ziyi Zhang.

Lee Da Hae
Lee Da Hae (Sports Korea)

Lee Da Hae is probably the sexiest Korean actress I have seen so far. The smoldering actress has been active in Korean showbusiness since 2002. She is best known for her dramas "Green Rose" and "East of Eden". The beauty went on a temporary leave from showbusiness in 2008 after leaving "East of Eden" due to health reasons. In 2011, Lee Da Hae staged a successful drama comeback opposite JYJ's Mickey Yoochun in "Goodbye Miss Ripley".

Ha Ji Won
Ha Ji Won (Sports Korea)

Ha Ji Won's looks may not fit the typical standard of "beauty". Still, her allure shines through her simplicity and seemingly boyish look. Not just another pretty face, Ha Ji Won is considered one of Korea's top actresses due to her versatility. She shines in any genre including comedy, romance, action, and even horror. In the Philippines, Ha Ji Won is most known for her Korean dramas "Secret Garden", "Hwang Jini", and "Memories of Bali". Her most recent film is the action flick, "Sector 7". Indeed, Ha Ji Won has that special sparkle that commands attention.

Han Ga In
Han Ga In (Publicity photo)

Han Ga In has one of the sweetest faces among Korean actresses. She became a household name in Korea through her breakout role as "Lee Mi Ok" in the cute Korean drama "Super Rookie" opposite Shinhwa's Eric Mun. Married to Yun Jung Hoon ("East of Eden"), Han Ga In has been inactive in Korean showbusiness as of late focusing more on CF projects. Still, there are reports that the actress is set to make a comeback in 2012 through the period drama "The Moon that Embraces the Sun".
